The following test results were obtained with a commercially available rifle: twist, one turn in 48 inches; length 28 inches. We feel that these results are typical, but cannot guarantee the same results to you because of the many variables inherent to ballistics testing. Testing has indicated that loads of 60 to 80 grains of FF blackpowder or pyrodex RS equivalent will shoot most accurately. Charges should never exceed 90 grain FF blackpowder or equivalent.
